Before and After Security Smoking

Smoking is only permitted in designated areas outside the terminals and in a smoking room located before immigration.

WARNING: As of February 3rd 2019 Suvanarbhumi Airport has became a smoke-free zone.  Which means it is illegal to smoke near any palace in or outside the airport. Update from Korakot on the 2nd Feb 2019.

All smoking rooms inside airport are closed. Smoking is permitted only outside airport at designed areas level 1, 2 and 4. Update from Paolo L. Feb 2019.

Domestic - A Gates

There are no smoking areas in the domestic boarding area (A gates). Feedback from Vivienne B. on the 22nd August 2018.

There is at least seven smoking areas inside the terminal, they are:

Concourse C :

As of 3rd February 2019 no smoking areas inside airports. This applies throughout Thailand.

Concourse D:

2 smoking areas:

Concourse E :

As of 3rd February 2019 no smoking areas inside airports. This applies throughout Thailand.

Concourse F :

As of 3rd February 2019 no smoking areas inside airports. This applies throughout Thailand.

Concourse G (International) :

As of 3rd February 2019 no smoking areas inside airports. This applies throughout Thailand.
