Preveza–Aktion National Airport (IATA: PVK, ICAO: LGPZ) is a regional Greek airport serving the cities of Preveza and Lefkada, located about 7 km south of Preveza on the Aktio peninsula. Opened in 1968 originally as a military airfield, it later transitioned to civilian use and today supports a mix of domestic flights, seasonal international routes, and military/NATO operations. The airport sits just 3 meters above sea level and operates a single asphalt runway, providing vital connectivity for tourism in the Ionian region. A major renovation followed its 2015 privatization, modernizing facilities and improving passenger services. Access to Preveza is uniquely provided via the Aktio–Preveza Undersea Tunnel, the only land link between the airport and the city.
