About

Lebanon is a small but culturally rich Middle Eastern country on the eastern Mediterranean, known for its dramatic mix of mountains, coastline, and ancient history. Its capital, Beirut, has long been a regional center of education, finance, and nightlife, earning it the nickname "the Paris of the Middle East." Despite its beauty and deep heritage from Phoenician ruins to Ottoman architecture and Maronite monasteries Lebanon faces ongoing economic and political challenges, including a severe financial crisis and complex power sharing politics shaped by its diverse religious communities. Yet the country remains renowned for its resilience, vibrant arts scene, world famous cuisine, and strong diaspora connections that influence culture and business worldwide.
